My friends and I love your humor and common sense approach to nutrition. We are a group of five women in our 30’s and 40’s who happen to love football. We admit to being just a little competitive, so this is a blast for us. We’re having fun as we are getting healthier and not to mention looking great!

Did you guys read Dear (Food) Diary by Sanjay Gupta M.D. in TIME August 4, 2008? He refers to a paper in the August issue of the American Journal of Medicine . It states that…”dieters who kept a food diary lost twice as much weight as those who didn’t.” You could have told him that, right? Dr. Gupta’s article also mentions Victor Stevens of Kaiser Permanente Center for Health Research. Stevens told Gupta …”hands down the most successful method of weight loss was keeping a record of what you eat.” Thought you’d like to know you are in good company.
